Spring Into Action: March 20 - April 4

Spring into Action 2016 Impact Snapshot:

Over 300 people participated in 20 projects from East New York to Coney Island 
50 people volunteered to help restore our urban garden for Spring 
Over 100 young people learned about career options from mentors 
10 low income adults received free tax preparation from trained volunteers
40 adults with developmental disabilities participated in a volunteer-led bowling tournament
40 adults with disabilities practiced their interview skills 
40 youths received training in financial literacy
30 2-5 year olds built their literacy skills in reading groups with volunteers
35 bags of trash were picked up on Coney Island's waterfront
73 street trees were stewarded in Bedford-Stuyvesant
