The TEAK Fellowship helps talented New York City students from low-income families gain admission to and succeed at top high schools and colleges.  Along with academic support, TEAK provides leadership training, exposure to the arts and outdoors, mentoring, career experience, and assistance with the high school and college application processes.

TEAK members join BCS to participate in programs and activities at BKLYN UNLTD, Duffield Children's Center and Metro Club PROS, working with highly motivated and skilled Adults with Disabilities, underprivileged children and individuals who have struggled with serious emotional issues. 

The BCS Transitional Living Community (TLC), a 40-bed section of the Brooklyn Women's Shelter in East New York, Brooklyn that provides homeless, low-income, mentally ill women with temporary shelter and assistance to secure permanent housing.

Our TLC Garden is in full bloom! Join us at our afternoon barbecue to enjoy the beautiful garden and good food with the BCS staff and other neighborhood residents!

BCS 360° is a monthly special presentation and tour featuring the work of Brooklyn Community Services.

For 146 years, BCS has helped countless thousands of disadvantaged children, youth, families and adults to lead more productive, healthier and more self-sufficient lives.

A BCS 360° event is scheduled every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 5:30- 6:30 pm, at BCS headquarters, 285 Schermerhorn Street in Brooklyn. A light snack is served beginning at 5:15 pm; the program starts promptly at 5:30 pm and concludes at 6:30 pm.

BCS 360° is our initiative to reach out and spread the news about our positive impact in the community! The program will introduce you to BCS's broad range of services, featuring presentations by staff, board and clients.

Participants will see in a very real way how BCS helps children and youth to reach their full potential, strengthens families, and fosters self-sufficiency for adults.
