Our Supported Employment program is an approach to vocational rehabilitation that emphasizes rapid search for competitive jobs in the community for clients with severe mental illness, attention to clients' preferences in terms of desired jobs, provision of follow-along supports after a job is obtained to facilitate learning job skills and managing any work-related problems, integration of vocational and clinical services, and benefits counseling.
