When it comes to our clients, BCS invests in the entire family.  Our programs strengthen families by helping them maintain unity during crisis, and by teaching skills to become healthier and more self-sufficient.  Our Preventive Services programs are located in the under-served neighborhoods of Bedford-Stuyvesant and East New York. 

We provide counseling and access to resources that help heal and stabilize families, and prevent unnecessary or inappropriate placement of children into foster care. 

Our Homemaking program is housed at our main office in downtown Brooklyn.  Hundreds of homemakers provide in-home services every day to ill or disabled parents who experience difficulty managing their homes and children on their own.  We bring a "whole-family approach" to the work that we do and it works.
